Professionally my primary areas of involvement include IT management, process improvement, software engineering (with an emphasis on the soft part of this field), object-oriented development, enterprise-class architecture, agile methods, test-driven development, project failure prevention, on-demand miracles, future foretelling and other common IT magic. Some time ago I started a new blog (in polish) about the problems I found while introducing and adapting agile practices in real life situations I was faced with: Poradnik Mlodego Sapera (recently due to a lot of work not active).
I was 'raised' in the e-Informatyka.pl community I co-founded at the Technical University of Wroclaw. Then I worked for ExOrigo a mid-size outsourcing company leading their teams and projects into (and out of) chaos. The last 2 years I have worked at EMPIK the No.1 Polish brick & mortar and online multimedia stores - building a brand new e-commerce platform for this ever expanding business. Now I am the CEO of a IT company Istima , which I have founded together with two of my colleagues. Building on our experiences we offer our clients IT consulting, software development and maintenance, and high quality trainings for IT professionals.
In regards to the industry my main area of expertise are Internet applications, especially e-commerce platforms.
